Hot day at the Dallas Zoo

It's hot in Dallas today. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, "Of course it's hot in Dallas. It's summer."

Actually, the heat makes it a good day to be at the Dallas Zoo. The heat reduces the size of the crowds. And if you've taken advantage of the family passes, even if your kids can only take the heat for an hour or so, you won't feel like you haven't gotten your money's worth.

Plus, the kids can always cool off in the stream in the Lacerte Family Children's Area.
